MOMENTS THAT COULD'VE CHANGED FOOTBALL FOREVER
Many a football book sits on the shelves of many a book shop but not many raise as many questions as this one! That's A LOT of MANYS....
OPINIONS
Opinions in football make it the entertaining sport, or business, that it is!
That said, how someone comes to any particular opinion determines whether it's plausible or ridiculous.
We [football4football] constantly jump in and out of Twitter. The varying content shared, created or commented on could quickly fill a day.
THE WRITE STUFF
Every now and again, you see the odd account that makes you go, ok, tell me more. Luckily enough, two such accounts caught our eye. Our initial outreach to @PeterPrickett aka 'The Bearded Coach' grew an admiration for his take on 3 v3 training and its benefits. So much so we've met on numerous occasions to detail. (Keep an eye out for this brilliant content)
From Prickett's interactions, the commentary and thoughts of Peter Thornton encouraged our follow also. Open, knowledgeable and romantic in delivery, @insidewrite1957, as he goes by, seemed to ebb and flow with Peter's consistent posting.
Watching from afar, as you're reading this, we're STILL in the build phase. We were delighted to see they had collaborated on a book. And, not just any ordinary book. A book that was tailored made for their observant and opinionated view of the game.
The title straightaway evokes a reaction - 'Moments That Could've Changed Football Forever'. Well, where do you start?

Below are just a few of the things that jumped out to us. But please take time to watch the exclusive football4football video interview with Peter and Peter to get a deeper understanding of one of the most innovative and divisive football books we've ever read.
Yep, it confused the heck out of us too. This was one that definitely got away!
The cool, calm and collected Swede is a very astute coach and an even more astute businessman.
The modern day fan, or coach for that matter are naturally drawn to what they know. Peter and Peter unearthed some nuggets of what they SHOULD need to know.
From reading their daily tweets and then meeting in person, Peter Thornton and Peter Prickett are defeiently well equipped to write such a book. That said, they are quick to qualify that this is all about THEIR opinions. They comfortably admit, that doesn't mean they are right. What is clear to hear though, is there has been a lot of thought, passion and hardwork in creating a most entertaining and educational first of its kind title.
